Show 16 of Against the Wind brings you a look at more of the doctors and scientists who are ushering in the best of humanity with ethical care, expert technology and perspectives that can change the world with compassion and love.
In From the Heart, Dr. Thomas reports on the current state of his practice, his pending lawsuit and alludes to some of the exciting momentum of his new productions.
Dr. Nathan Riley, a hospice and palliative doc, and obstetrician and gynecologist, is a big home birth advocate in Kentucky, who speaks to Dr. Paul about his practice. He describes some of his thoughts on the pitfalls of protocolized medicine and the benefits of individualized care. He also expresses some concerns about an “anti-scientific underswell” in his profession's pregnancy and neonate recommendations.
Dr. Steven Pelech, holds a PhD in biochemistry, has extensive postdoc training in biomedicine and is a tenured professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He’s also a founding scientist of the Biomedical Research Center at UBC as well as VP of the Canadian Covid Care Alliance and the President and Chief Scientific Officer at Kinexus Bioinformatics Corp that has developed perhaps the most sensitive of it’s kind tests for detecting immunity to SARS-CoV 2. His professional insights on the rate of natural immunity in North America, and the long-lasting state of natural immunity run contrary to what is often heard in the media. Discussions on exposure to the vaccinated as a risk and the sequelae of autoimmune responses from our current mass vaccination program also come up.
