In his From the Heart segment, Dr. Paul gives tribute to warrior moms and dads. He describes a warrior as someone who is focused, brave, always there, and never giving up. As warriors, you are always fighting for your children, no matter what. It’s time to link arms so we can become an army of warriors together! My kind of words are to always have faith always question. Don't believe everything that you hear, do your research and go the distance, because life is short. And there's a small window for these kids a very small window, the younger they are the better chance of recovery, not that they can be successful past a certain age. But there's a small window, and you have a lot of work to do in that small window. There's no better time than now. This week, we meet Tracy Slepcevic, a certified integrative health practitioner who authored the book, “Warrior Mom: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Her Son with Autism.” We talk about her journey from getting the autism diagnosis to dealing with pediatricians. Tracy shares great insights for parents on ways to truly help and advocate for our kids. You don’t want to miss it! Title: The Potential Benefits of Ivermectin in Preventing COVID-19 Show Length: 45 minutes Introduction: In this episode, we speak with Dr. Pierre Kory, author of The War on Ivermectin, about the potential benefits of using the medication as a preventative measure for COVID-19. Dr. Kory is a critical care and pulmonary medicine specialist who has been advocating for the use of Ivermectin in the fight against COVID-19. Segment 1: Dr. Kory discusses his background and how he became interested in the potential benefits of Ivermectin in preventing COVID-19. He explains that he first learned about the medication from a colleague who had been using it to treat patients with parasitic infections. When the pandemic hit, Dr. Kory began researching the potential benefits of Ivermectin in preventing COVID-19 and was surprised to find that there was already a significant body of research on the topic. However, he also discovered that many healthcare providers were not aware of this research and were not considering Ivermectin as a viable treatment option. Segment 2: Dr. Kory explains how Ivermectin works and why he believes it could be an effective preventative measure for COVID-19. He notes that Ivermectin has been shown to have antiviral properties and can prevent the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. He also discusses the results of various studies that have been conducted on the medication, including a recent meta-analysis that found that Ivermectin reduced the risk of death in COVID-19 patients by up to 75%. Segment 3: Dr. Kory addresses some of the criticisms and concerns that have been raised about the use of Ivermectin, including its potential side effects and the need for further research. He acknowledges that there is still much to learn about the medication and that more studies are needed to fully understand its potential benefits and risks. However, he also notes that Ivermectin has been used safely for decades to treat parasitic infections and that the risks associated with its use are relatively low. Conclusion: Dr. Kory emphasizes the importance of considering all potential treatment options for COVID-19, including Ivermectin, and encourages listeners to do their own research and consult with their healthcare providers. He notes that the pandemic has highlighted the need for more research into alternative treatments Links:
